Medication withdrawal is hell
Trying to come off antidepressants. Brain zaps, nausea, mood swings, suicidal thoughts. This is worse than the original depression. Why don't doctors warn you about withdrawal? How long does this last?
Antidepressants killed my sex drive
I've been on SSRIs for 3 months. My depression is a bit better but I have zero sex drive. It's destroying my relationship. Is this permanent? Will it come back if I stop the medication?
Life after medication - it's possible
I was on psychiatric medication for 6 years. The side effects were destroying my quality of life but I was terrified to stop. I slowly tapered off (with medical supervision) while doing Dianetics to address underlying issues. It took a year but I'm now medication-free and feeling better than ever. If medication side effects are unbearable, know there are alternatives. Do your research and work with professionals.
